Happy Valentine’s Day!

Sometimes, at Teacup, we can’t get enough of the holiday dedicated to love! It could be the hot cinnamon hearts or the copious amounts of chocolate laying around but there is an extra boost of romance infused into all that we do. Yes, we LOVE, love. In fact, some might ..(might).. even go so far as to call us hopeless romantics- but we would call ourselves hopeful romantics!

Love & Tiny Homes

So why are love and romance such a big deal for a company that builds tiny homes and cottages? Great question! And the answer is that while building tiny’s is what we technically do, our deeper goal is to help you fall in love. Let us explain.

Falling in love requires a few things: safety, security, mindfulness, quiet, and time. But, ironically, society's consumer culture has strayed further and further from these things as time goes on. What used to be a holiday based on sharing our feelings has morphed into a corporate holiday centered around purchasing things like stuffed animals we don’t need or candy hearts we’re not even sure we like the taste of.

Now, don’t get us wrong, no one in the Teacup family is going to turn down chocolate (!), but we also want to take a moment this Valentine’s Day to breathe and come back to what’s really important: helping you fall in love- with yourself, your life, and your special someone, all over again.

People fall in love in many capacities, but first and foremost, it’s important to fall in love with yourself. Here at Teacup, we want to do what we can to assist you in that process.

If you’ve never lived in a small space, you might not know this yet, but a tiny home is actually a natural feedback system that fosters connection to the self.

Why is this the case? Well, in a tiny, everywhere you go, there you are- like, on another level!
