About three years ago, I defined my personal mission: to break free from conformity, a principle that shapes my daily life. This mission stemmed from a realization in 2016 that societal norms in North American culture were no longer suitable.

Observing the burnout and challenges faced by both Gen-X and millennials, I recognized a need for a lifestyle shift. Gen-X's "work hard play hard" mentality had transformed into burnout, while millennials struggled to balance dual-income households, family responsibilities, and personal well-being.

This daily grind, filled with responsibilities and minimal time for enjoyment, led me to envision a better way of living. What if there was a more attainable, simplified lifestyle, epitomized by a tiny home cabin in the mountains that required minimal maintenance?

This vision birthed Teacup, a company with a mission to make people's lives simpler. Whether for full-time dwellings, short-term rentals, vacation homes, or camping, Teacup offers functional, purposeful living spaces that require less maintenance and promote well-being.

In line with this mission, Teacup adopted a four-day work week, established an online training portal called "The Teacup Academy," and actively seeks client feedback for continuous improvement. The focus includes expanding the foundation series, growing the U.S. client base, and collaborating closely with dealers.

The business's remote-friendly setup, developed during the founder's pregnancy and early motherhood, proved advantageous during the pandemic. Teacup successfully serves clients across Canada and the USA, emphasizing its commitment to simplicity, well-being, and positive experiences for all involved.
